On Joy: Working with Hanna Agar

October 10, 2014

It took a few meetings with Hanna to understand exactly what she was offering. Hanna doesn't use photography to capture things, rather, to set visions free.

It is through her professionalism and technical skill that ideas in my head were birthed into the world in the most beautiful way possible. And it is with her positive energy and spirit that any anxiety and fear around doing that work was soothed so that making those images was a part of the joy they are meant to inspire. I am so grateful to have the fortune to benefit from the generosity with which Hanna approaches projects, collaboration and life around her - offering all her talent, attention and sensitivity so that we can see what we see in the world, as beautifully and meaningfully as what exists in our head.
