The Personal Mikdash—an outdoor temple and studio space honoring the essence of the festival: the daily and unguarded act of sharing light with the world.
The installation unfolds in two parts:
Daily candle sculpting, using verses from Tehillim (Psalms)—the original book of Jewish mantras
Evening ritual gatherings, where guests are invited to co-create spiritual practices around the Chanukah lights
Each evening, the tent opened as a sacred and welcoming space for visitors to engage in personal or collective ritual. This work is a love letter to Jerusalem— and invitation to all those the dwell within her embrace… may she always be surrounded by peace, love, and respect.
